“Diesel Fueled Defiance” is inspired by women on the forefront of car racing during the civil rights movements of the 60s, when an increasingly virulent sentiment toward women was under way. These women would do whatever it took for the taste of adventure that racing cars brought to their lives.
Our Rally Jacket is inspired by British hunting gear that we would find in historical pictures of Pat Moss-Carlsson driving. Moss-Carlsson is one of the pioneering female rally car drivers who made her debut on the international rallying stage in 1955 at the Rally GB.

The Rally Jacket is based on our interpretation of the classic wax cotton hunting jacket with the game pocket in the back but our version of it has the Nam pockets spliced on the front.

The most common knowledge of the origins of the British hunting jacket can be traced back to the 19th-century when it was worn by Henry Fitzalan-Howard, the 15th Duke of Norfolk. It then became known as the “Norfolk Jacket”, but actually became popularised in the 1880s by then Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII.
