The Funnest Handwoven Fabric By Baan Kham Pramong

1

Our SS25 hand-woven “Bowling Shirt” was made from a beautiful naturally-dyed rayon, handwoven by a woman-led co-operative called “Baan Kham Pramong” in Sakon Nakhon, Thailand. An OTOP certified project, the Baan Kham Pramong chairman Mae Jin-Jintana has become a local icon, inspiring women of all ages with her unique weaving patterns, commitment to empowering women of her community, and also using all-natural dye techniques.

According to Mae Jin this fabric was inspired by looking up at the stars from her patio. Each shirt tells a story of dedication, artistry, and sustainability. The soft yarn is dyed using local, seasonal pigments, making for rich, one-of-a-kind colors - that reflect the natural world.

This piece is a true work of art that celebrates heritage, tradition, and ethical production.
