People always come up to me and tell me they ‘saw my mum in Chefs’ Warehouse the other day’. It happens often. I suppose she is the reason I also frequent the culinary-supplies-wonderland whenever I am in town, not necessarily because I need anything, but plainly because I enjoy the art of browsing – especially when it has anything to do with food.
If I had to make a list of my favourite stores in Sydney, Chefs’ would be on that list. I my favourite frypans (that now have beautiful patinas from never coming into contact with soap or acid, and that get better and better over time) come from Chefs’. If you are a bunch o’ crazy like me and spend your spare time dreaming about high powered blenders, giant copper bowls, and great big slabs of pink salt, then I urge you to drop by for a fun afternoon (don’t get me wrong, they have small things too!)
Don’t worry, if you aren’t in Sydney you can always take a peek at their blog for endless fun, scrolling through pages and pages of kitchenware.
