This week our pal Amy Leverton, author of cult hit Denim Dudes, shared an exciting window into the burgeoning denim landscape of South East Asia and no one could have put it better. It has become more apparent that South East Asia has fostered the perfect conditions for an incredibly diverse and exciting denim scene that roots itself into history while springing itself forward into a boundless form. Yes, today we are bombarded with an incredible amount of stimulus that can leave us dazed and confused, but in tropical Asia, an entrepreneurial spirit is carving its way through space thanks to all of this great data. Denim mills are moving from half the world over to share a slice of the indigofera pie, and Amy makes sense of it all.
