Inspired by designer Lauren’s passion for slow-made textiles, and photographs of her British grandparents during World War II, the collection is intricately layered with research, developed for hard hitting gals of today. Expect super special pieces like the Helicopter Pilot’s jacket, constructed with a tightly woven Japanese indigo ripstop outer shell, a full down interior, and all natural cotton interior that is not only ultra warm, but breathable thanks to the choice of natural materials. This winter, Lauren has curated fabrics from across Asia, looking to all-natural Khadi fabrics for her basics like the Roll Neck Shirt, and hand block-printed cottons that provide a flash of detail to the interior of the Mrs Wong quilted jacket for the W’menswear collection.
They are thoughtful garments to shelter you through the changing seasons, for example the Waxed Cotton Rain Jacket. It is a simple waterproof outer shell that can be worn through the warmer months, while the roomy enough to layer underneath as the thermometer drops. Another super versatile piece, the All-Weather Outdoor Jacket is another testament to design that considers all of our movements and needs. With a carbonised canvas outer shell, the jacket is rainproof, with a tightly woven Japanese brushed plaid interior that provides a second layer of protection from wind. The jacket sports enough pockets (including a game pocket behind) to stash all the snacks in the world on your next fishing trip, and the detachable sheepskin collar hides a Bedford Cord one beneath.
