Ponytail Parker is our appropriation of post WW2 military comic books, providing alternate narratives to the rigid framework of early comic book convention. The heroine, Parker, is a characterisation of the juju we serve up at the journal, spanning over our passions, aspirations, daydreams, and style. We’re pulling women out of the kitchen and onto the battlefield, for the funnest adventures possible. In each issue you will be able to enjoy hand painted cover art by our favourite artists, opening into an illustrated world of military-meets neo-psychedelic fantasy that meditate on our very own existence.
