This week I’m in Hokkaido, Northern Japan to explore the goodness to eat and experience that the end of winter brings. The snow is starting to get heavy, the sun is coming out, and the smell of yaki niku (BBQ) can now penetrate a slightly more humid air. I’m shooting, trying out new issue skis, snow shoeing, and eating plenty of tasty local delicacies like Hokkaido potato, Sapporo ramen, and the butter that they make here. So far, it’s like daaang.
This is what I call a PTJ apres ski, a sweat ensemble with a good pair of sneakers, beanie, canvas tote, and vintage Hercules coat. This is how it’s done /
