We’re exploring some of the most feminine qualities that come from borrowing from the boys.

As the weather sinks into a foggy slumber, autumn brings a light bite to the air as we start to rug up and set up camp for the winter solstice. We bring you some inspiration for the colder months in collaboration with our pals at Revision Society who have developed a new set of versatile winter pieces, designed to adapt to the changing weather, and made completely from surplus fabrics from luxury garment production that would otherwise go into landfill.

The meeting of three really rad women, strangers at the time, from three corners of the Earth, connected by one thing. All that tingles in the air is the crunching of viennoiserie, syncopated by the ting of spoons clashing with coffee cups, and the start of conversational discovery - people trying their best to relate, be relatable, share joy, and give some kind of meaning to existence.

We’re delighted to see French label Sessùn coming forward with a super military-inspired outerwear collection. Think about heavy military coats in virgin wool, tailored to a super feminine shape to bring back elegance to the silhouette... And they didn’t miss a beat in bringing out the cable knit turtleneck back (respect).

Presenting you our favourite things to do in Paris. Every stone surface, marble floor, forged iron fence, grandaddy fruit tree, and crack in the pavement is a magnificent mark of time, and I think the French are right to be preserving it with a mighty stubborn foot. So we tip our hat to inspirational juju that’s rooted in Paris, and the many colourful characters who explore the Universe in a wonderfully French light.

We’ve put together some classic looks that will get you from A to B, the gym to class, and off to work, all in the name of style. At Ponytail Journal, we believe this word can’t be taken too seriously, nor can the decision between a plain white oxford or one with a 3D print that requires red and blue glasses to experience fully.
