Last week I was shooting an upcoming food and adventure documentary (funnest) in Northeastern Thailand. The beauty of co-producing, narrating, and styling my own show is that I get to rock some PTJ styles. Too much fun. Here’s a little snippet into how things are shaping up. Here I’m crossing a wooden trampoline (as I called it) that bridged an impressive river which supports the livelihood of the Sukhothai people. I was en route to the local wet market, eyeing off some prime fishing spots along the river edges along the way. In situations like these, folks tend to look at me funny because I’m this overgrown girl with light hair who speaks fluent Thai, but I’ve gotten used to sticking out like a sore thumb and embraced its benefits like being shown rare and unusual vegetables by proud market aunties. When things like that happen, it pans out as incredible crew lunches with ant egg omelettes and the tastiest regional curries. You can see more strangeness on the PTJ Instagram.
