Our classic W'menswear Hunter's Jacket is back in a specially commissioned hand-woven indigo fabric. This 100% cotton, special fabric is yarn dyed in natural indigo, and woven on traditional hand-operated looms in North Eastern Thailand, the way it's been done for centuries. We’ve sourced this fabric ourselves during a trip to Roi Et where we woked on the design of the fabric.
The co-operative of female weavers not only work in the traditional way, without the use of chemical dyes, but do so on their own time and nominate their own fair price for their craft. It is important for us to work with small artisans who are passionate with their craft in industries which prioritises the traditional way of life.
The jacket is lined in cotton with pockets in front and a game pocket for large items on the back. The collar and trims are indigo Panama cloth, and the buttons are made from pure bamboo.
